Shavuah Tov! Thank you so much for writing. I AM impressed that he makes blintzes, not easy or quick. I hope he likes this recipe. Let me know.

I love your stories Irene! My son, who is 15, is now attending a Jewish High School and gets all the holidays off. For Yom Kippur, we often go to a friend's house about 45 minutes away to break fast and she makes the most wonderful blintzes ahead of time and we all anticipate breaking fast with that taste in our mouth and can hardly wait for them to be ready. We couldn't go this year so my son got it into his head to make them himself. Proudly, I must admit they were fantastic. We even found the farmer's cheese, which in San Jose, was no small challenge. We will add this recipe to the our list and try it this summer when he has time to cook.

They look great! (Are there any left?)
Where do you stand on the proper topping for a blintze - jam? sour cream? sugar? (I grew up with sour cream only as the topping when served.)
